Susan Browne
Rosenberg, CIH, CHMM Senior Industrial Hygienist Susan Browne Rosenberg is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. She has over 10 years experience in the areas of industrial hygiene, safety and hazardous materials. She adds expertise and experience in chemistry, occupational health and safety, management of environmental hazards, instrumentation technology, and indoor air quality. While working for CAL/OSHA, Ms.
Rosenberg was an Associate Industrial Hygienist, assigned to perform
inspections of complaints and accidents reported to the Regional office in
San Bernardino. As an independent consultant, Ms.
Rosenberg provided health and safety services to manufacturers and
contractors, reducing employee exposure to workplace hazards. She inspected over 100 residences for
fungal contamination related to construction defects. While working for Health Science
Associates, Ms. Rosenberg directed the industrial hygiene laboratory
providing services to health and safety professionals in both the public and
private sectors. Ms. Rosenberg
provided consultation services for a diverse client base, including Boeing,
Hughes, Los Angeles County, San Diego County, Cal/OSHA, Fireman’s Fund,
Southern California Edison, State Fund and many others. Concurrent with Ms. Rosenberg’s experience,
she teaches various topics in occupational safety and health for the Southern
California Education and Research Center at UCLA and USC. Ms. Rosenberg is a member of the
Environmental Advisory Board of the Desert Sun Newspaper in Palm Springs. |
